Alberto Turkstra is a Central Asia expert and Project Manager at Diplomatic World, a Brussels-based quarterly magazine and think tank. Previously, he worked at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Development Cooperation as Blue Book trainee and as cooperation officer for Turkmenistan, as well as at the European Institute for Asian Studies as junior researcher and later as programme coordinator.
