Peter De Wilde.

Originally from Basel (East-Flanders), Peter De Wilde studied and worked in Antwerp until 2009. A researcher, he taught French medieval language and literature at the University of Antwerp, where he obtained a PhD in literature and philosophy in 2000. He was successively head of the Culture Department of the province of Antwerp (2003-2006) and chief of cabinet for Culture and Tourism, in the city of Antwerp (2007-2009) before becoming CEO of Visit Flanders in 2009. From September 2022 he has been appointed CEO of Flanders Heritage Agency, remaining CEO ad interim of Visit Flanders.
