Elisa Spampinato is an anthropologist, travel writer and Impact Storytelling Strategist. As the founder of Traveller Storyteller and creator of the Hidden Story Framework™, she explores the intersection of tourism, culture, communities and impact, uncovering the overlooked stories that shape destinations and the lives of the people who call them home.

Over the past decade, Elisa has worked with local and Indigenous communities in more than 30 countries through research, capacity-building, storytelling and strategic advisory work. Her writing brings together anthropological insight, sustainable tourism expertise and on-the-ground experience, with a particular focus on community-led tourism, cultural heritage, conservation and the evolving relationship between travel, people and place. She has contributed to publications including TTG Media, the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA), Travindy, Equality in Tourism, Tourism Concern, Travel Mattersand GLP Films.
