The Aviato Jobfair returns to Brussels Airport on 10 February 2026, bringing together more than 50 employers and over 400 job opportunities in the airport’s Skyhall. Now, in its fifth edition, the event has become the largest job fair in Flemish Brabant. It attracts job seekers, students and professionals looking for new career opportunities at Brussels Airport and in the surrounding region.
Organised by Aviato, the airport’s employment hub, the fair offers candidates a direct way to meet recruiters, hand over their CVs and explore vacancies across a wide range of sectors. While airport-related employers form a major part of the line-up, companies from the wider region with no direct link to aviation will also be present. That is an important indicator of the airport’s broader role as an economic and employment hub.
Numerous vacancies will be available. These include technical and operational roles, administrative positions, security and screening jobs, cargo and logistics staff, as well as hospitality, retail, and catering roles. Exhibitors include Brussels Airport Company, Swissport Cargo Services Belgium, Safran, Nippon Express, G4S Aviation Security, and Securitas, alongside temporary employment agencies and other regional employers.
Dreaming of an #aviation job? ✈️ Join us at the Aviato Jobfair on 10 Feb from 1-5PM in our Skyhall at #BrusselsAirport! 400+ job opportunities from 50 companies are waiting for you, at and around the airport. 👉Register here: https://t.co/FdU4bEcmdz pic.twitter.com/KtCKibno7P

The continued popularity of the Aviato Jobfair comes amid persistent labour shortages across Belgium. Hundreds of professions are officially classified as shortage occupations, including dozens of bottleneck roles at Brussels Airport. Despite these challenges, interest in airport-related career opportunities and the surrounding region remains high.
Brussels Airport’s own expansion has also increased hiring needs. In 2025, the airport handled 24,4 million passengers, a 3,3% increase compared to the previous year, despite repeated national strikes that disrupted thousands of flights and passenger journeys.
Growth was driven by new routes and better long-haul connections. Brussels Airport added intercontinental flights to Atlanta, Chongqing, and Hong Kong. New airlines, including Cathay Pacific and Air Senegal, also joined the network, contributing to transfer traffic and strengthening the airport’s role as a European and global hub.
Cargo activity also recorded strong growth, with total volumes reaching nearly 800,000 tonnes in 2025. Air cargo and express services were key drivers, underlining the airport’s strategic importance in global logistics chains and its role as a major employer in the region.
Today, the Brussels Airport ecosystem accounts for around 30,000 direct jobs across more than 300 companies, as well as tens of thousands of indirect jobs. The presence of non-airport companies at the Aviato Jobfair reflects the wider impact, positioning the airport not just as a transport hub but as a crossroads for industries and talent.
For Aviato, the job fair forms part of a broader strategy to support companies year-round through training programmes, information sessions, job cafés and recruitment initiatives. As Brussels Airport prepares for further growth in 2026, including continued route expansion and investments under its Hub 3.0 programme, connecting talent with opportunity remains a central priority.
