1. Celebrations in Brussels
In Brussels, the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, organised a special evening, at the Royal Museum of Fine Arts, to celebrate this milestone. “I was proud to present the 25A limited edition Belgian craft beer to our guests attending the Hong Kong SAR’s 25th birthday party in Brussels. In 2016, Belgian Beer was included in the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage. Producing the 25A limited edition Belgian beer symbolises Hong Kong’s respect of Belgian culture and Hong Kong’s openness to different cultures. Hong Kong is an international platform for art and cultural exchanges” said Eddie Cheung, Special Representative for Hong Kong Economic and Trade Affairs to the European Union.

I hope our guests enjoyed the mini exhibition on Hong Kong’s M+ Museum and Hong Kong Palace Museum as well as the fusion food prepared by a Michelin-starred chef from Hong Kong at the reception. Hong Kong will welcome guests from different corners of the world for the Rugby Sevens international games to be held in Hong Kong in November 2022
Eddie Cheung, Special Representative for Hong Kong Economic and Trade Affairs to the EU
