Tomorrowland and Rock Werchter – two of the biggest festivals in Belgium and Europe – are teaming up to create a new jointly-organized festival with a focus on music, unique art, and stunning nature – the perfect celebration of live events returning.
The new festival experience will be called CORE Festival and will take place in the Osseghem Park of Brussels on 27-28 May from noon until 1 am. The venue will have a capacity of around 25,000 attendees per day and is expected to attract both Belgian and international visitors. Over 30 big names across different genres will participate in the Festival, which will feature four different stages across the park. There will also be high quality food to enjoy.
Speaking about the new jointly-operated music festival, Brussels city mayor Philippe Close said: “We are very proud that Tomorrowland and Rock Werchter, two of the most important players in the world of music, are coming to Brussels with this new concept. A total experience of music, art and nature. Brussels celebrates and thus enables the event, cultural and hotel industry to breathe again.”
The CORE Festival’s program will soon be announced. Pre-sale takes place on 23 February at 11:00 AM CET and general sales open up on 24 February. Day tickets are available from €67 and weekend tickets from €123. Pre-registration and more information can be found here.
The CORE Festival will be the kickoff of the 2022 event season. Tomorrowland Winter will finally return to France on March 19-26 – and the event has already sold out since November. In Belgium, Tomorrowland will return in July in the town of Boom, for two weekends of fun and entertainment. Rock Werchter’s festival will also make its return to Werchter from 30 June to 3 July with names such as Bicep, Jamie XX, Twenty One Pilots, and many more.
