Fuzhou, located offâthe southeast coast of China, is anâestuary basin surrounded by mountains,âfeaturing a warm climate, abundant precipitation, and high diurnal temperature amplitude, whichâoffer suitableâconditions for the growthâof jasmines, andâmicroclimatesâfor tea growth. Fuzhou, which boastsâa long history of jasmineâplantation, ranks topâin Chinaâin terms of quantity and qualityâof this plant. Fuzhou is also the onlyâChineseâcity that honors jasmine as its city flower.
