The best Italian restaurant in the world is in Toronto in Canada. Don Alfonso 1890 is the historic sign of the great Mediterranean restaurant of Sant’Agata sui due golfi, now internationally recognized. Thanks to Alfonso Iaccarino it received its Michelin stars and today its firmly guided by his son Ernesto; the restaurant is also present in Macao and New Zealand. Don Alfonso 1890 opened in 2018 in the Canadian metropolis.
We are certainly not the first to have discovered the worldwide success of Italian cuisine. What we do note in particular, however, is that in recent years there has been a significant rise in the average quality.

The result was decreed by the ranking of “I Migliori Ristoranti Italiani nel Mondo 2022 – Prosecco DOC Award”, awarded by 50 Top Italy, the online guide created by LSDM, the International Congress of Signature Cuisine, and the newspaper Luciano Pignataro Wine&Food Blog.
