The long-awaited LEGO Discovery Centre (LDC) will finally open on 24 June at Docks, Brussels. It will be the first next generation LDC in the world, featuring no less than 12 fun zones. LEGOs are, of course, the main attraction in the brand new 3,000m² centre.
Welcome to our new LEGO Discovery Centre in Brussels. It’s the home of LEGO play, where you and your family can create your own adventures with over two million bricks.

The new centre will have everything you can imagine and more, from expected building areas to workshops and a 4D cinema. “Climb aboard the Imagination Express on a Journey through an oversized LEGO world or prepare to be blown away by an amazing 4D sensory cinema experience! Come and explore in a reimagined world of awesome LEGO builds in Mini World, discover our workshops and practice your building skills in our Build Adventures area dedicated to LEGO play and creation”, reads the LDC website.
As one of the most exciting and densely populated cities, where many families live, the European capital is the ideal place to give consumers the opportunity to indulge in their passion for LEGO.

The face of the Brussels LDC will be Sieber Burteel, from Lubbeek, who, just last month, won the title of Master Model Builder, becoming the first Belgian to receive this honour. Visitors of the centre will have the pleasure of being guided through the fun zones by Burteel, but he will also hold numerous workshops to share his Master Builder expertise. 40 to 45 people will join Burteel at the LDC to help manage the guided tours and the rest of the activities.
