For the very first time in Brussels, a street food festival will take place from May 12th to 15th at Tour & Taxis. The Streat Fest aims to honor this internationally known culture based on quality food but easy to eat. Dozens of chefs will propose their creations while music delights the ears of the gourmets. Street food “offers a nomadic and multicultural cuisine, which invites you to travel and provokes encounters with stories that speak for themselves,” explained the organizers, Tatou Productions, about their annual event.
Food lovers will be able to wander through 5,000 square meters of space that will bring together chefs, artists and DJs, as well as artisans of taste and producers gathered in a gastronomic market.
We challenged the chefs to experiment with street food and they responded. In Lyon there were 40,000 people during the fifth edition. We’re aiming for 10,000.
Terry Vermandel, Ggeneral manager of Tatou Productions
