Due to closed airspace, at least 3,400 flights were cancelled over the first weekend in March at seven Gulf airports, Flightradar24 revealed. Cruises across the Arabian Gulf have been suspended, too. Europeans have been urged to shelter in place and follow local authority guidance on staying safe as they await further news on how to get home.
