Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida is raising the prices for its tickets in 2025. In its first price shift since December 2022, most of the tickets will be increased by 5 or 10 dollars next year, both for single park and multiple park entries. As the changes will only go into effect in 2025, there is still time to enjoy Walt Disney World at a slightly lower tariff before the end of the year. Specific discounts will also stay available in 2025, such as for retired military service members and their families and Florida residents.
“In the past, Disney just raised all the ticket prices at once rather than rolling out new prices as they added new dates to their calendar. The last time the prices went up, a specific date might be $144 on one day, and then after the price increase that same exact date is now $151. So this new strategy is interesting, because all the 2024 prices remained unchanged. But if this holds, it represents a new way of raising prices that makes ticket pricing stable for a specific date”, Don Munsil, who runs the travel website MouseSavers.com, told CNN in an email.
At the moment, the cheapest 1-day ticket price lays at 109 dollars (100 euros) for anyone above the age of 9. That price will be up to 119 (109 euros) dollars in 2025, according to Walt Disney World’s booking calendar. Low season 1-day tickets aren’t the only ones that will cost visitors more in 2025. On other moments too, prices will raise by 5 to 10 dollars. Park Hopper options will increase by the same amount.
On the other hand, the most expensive 1-day ticket, priced at 189 dollars (174 euros) in 2024, will remain unchanged over the next year. Moreover, “Walt Disney World has also ramped up discounts significantly since last raising ticket prices in December 2022,” Disney Tourist Blog writer Tom Bricker recently shared on his website.
However, Walt Disney World enthusiasts eager to score tickets at a lower rate might still be in luck. Multiple techniques will get them small to large discounts. For example, one could buy Disney gift cards at a discount and pay their ticket with those or go through third parties such as Costco to purchase an entry.
