Uzbekistan’s largest private airline, Centrum Air, is set to connect Central Asia with Northern Europe this autumn. The carrier recently announced the launch of a new direct route between Copenhagen, Denmark, and Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. The service will begin on 2 October 2025, offering travellers a convenient link between the two capitals.
The flight will operate twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays, using an Airbus A320-200 jet, managed by My Freighter Airlines. Each flight will carry up to 180 passengers, with the journey between the two cities taking approximately six hours.
The Tuesdays, flights will leave Tashkent at 7:00 p.m., arriving in Copenhagen at 10:30 p.m. with the return journey departing at 11:30 p.m. and touching down in Tashkent at 8:15 a.m. the next morning. Similarly, on Thursdays, flights to Copenhagen will depart from Tashkent at 9:30 a.m. and reach their destination at 12:45 p.m., while the return flight to Tashkent will take off from Copenhagen at 1:45 p.m. and arrive at 10:30 p.m.

Tickets are currently available for booking through October 23 as part of the summer schedule. It has not yet been confirmed whether the route will continue into the winter season. Originally postponed due to aircraft availability, the route is now expected to become Copenhagen’s newest direct connection to Central Asia.
In July 2025, Centrum Air expanded its network by launching new flights to Sochi, Russia and Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan. Flights to Dushanbe operate twice a week from both Tashkent and Samarkand, while the Sochi route, departing from Samarkand, is also scheduled twice weekly.
This new Copenhagen route provides easier access to Scandinavia for Central Asian travellers, while offering European tourists a direct path to explore Uzbekistan’s rich cultural heritage. For Centrum Air, the expansion reflects its ambition to become a key player in budget-friendly intercontinental travel—just two years after its launch.

For Centrum Air, the launch marks a significant milestone — its entry into the European Union market. Less than two years since its founding – in 2023 – the airline is broadening its network and joining the ranks of carriers offering budget-friendly intercontinental travel options.
Centrum Air is Uzbekistan’s leading private airline, recognised for operating the country’s most modern fleet. Founded on 18 January 2023, as part of a government initiative to enhance air travel, the airline has quickly gained a reputation for safety and reliability.
