Celebrity Cruises announced that it will resume operations in Southern Europe in June. The first trips will be in the Mediterranean exploring the Greek islands.
The ship will be Celebrity Apex and it is scheduled to leave dock on June 19th. Departing from Athens, the journey will consist of a seven-night trip around Greece and the Aegean Sea.
The Celebrity Apex will stop in Mykonos, Rhodes, and Santorini in Greece before continuing onto Limassol, Cyprus, and Haifa, Israel. These stopovers are possible thanks to the safe corridor signed between Greece, Cyprus and Israel back in February.
On board the Celebrity Apex, all passengers and crew members older than 18 must be vaccinated against Covid-19 before departure. Those younger than 18 will have to present negative PCR test results before boarding.
Guests will be able to enjoy a brand new feature: The Magic Carpet. It is the world’s first cantilevered, floating platform that reaches heights of 13 stories above sea level. It is designed with comfortable seating, a full bar, and space for live music performances.
Celebrity Apex is such an exquisite ship and for her to finally begin sailing in the beautiful Aegean
