Supermarkets and essential businesses are allowed to remain open, but will not be able to sell products normally available in other stores forced to close due to Covid-19 measures.
These goods include toys, kitchen utensils, clothing, household and garden furniture, barbecues, mobile heaters, ornamental goods (except for candles), multimedia and electronic goods, telecoms accessories, jewelry, leatherware and sporting goods.
All these goods must remain inaccessible to customers in businesses that are allowed to remain open. However, they can be delivered or picked up from businesses open to the public as well as those that need to remain closed.
Do-it-yourself shops are allowed to remain open, but they can only sell materials for work at home or in the garden.
Other stores allowed to stay open include food stores, shops selling hygiene products, health-care goods and animal feed, pharmacies, newspaper vendors, bookstores, gas stations, fuel suppliers, and telecommunication stores (except those selling accessories). Stores specializing in medical equipment, garden centers and nurseries, wholesalers catering for professionals, specialized retailers that sell cloth, thread, knitting wool, haberdashery or office supplies will also remain open.
