While Real Madrid World, in Dubai, welcomed its first visitors in April 2024, the park’s official inauguration took place on 13 November. As one of Dubai’s newest theme parks, it invites football lovers from around the globe to explore Real Madrid’s rich history, iconic trophies, and over forty games and experiences.
The official inauguration event featured Emilio Butragueño, Real Madrid’s Director of Institutional Relations, and Roberto Carlos, the club’s ambassador. These two legends toured the park’s facilities and participated in a football clinic with over 100 children from the Real Madrid Foundation on the park’s pitch.
“We are absolutely convinced that visitors to this theme park will immediately feel the excitement and enthusiasm that our badge and our shirt convey. Here we bring to life a very important and beloved part of our history, stemming from the emotions and dreams of Real Madrid fans. As our president says, Real Madrid belongs to the hearts of the people,” said Butragueño.
Being the size of six Santiago Bernabéu football stadiums, the park offers visitors to experience Stars Flyer, the world’s tallest flying chairs at 140 metres high, and Hala Madrid Coaster, the Middle East’s first and only wooden roller coaster.
Another popular attraction, Meet the Stars, allows fans to take photos with life-size statues of Real Madrid’s legendary players. Additionally, visitors can gather to watch live Real Madrid games on-site, enhancing the sense of connection to the club.
The park’s forty attractions are just the beginning of what it offers. Visitors can relive unforgettable moments of the club’s history or explore Bernabéu Experience, an exhibition where they can tap into the 15 European Cups in football and 11 in basketball won by Real Madrid.
“Real Madrid World is more than just a theme park – it is a celebration of football,” said Fernando Eiroa, CEO of Dubai Holding Entertainment.
The park is open from Sunday to Thursday from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on Friday and Saturday from 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
