Each year, popular Italian 50 Top Pizza website publishes lists of where to find the very best pizzas in Italy, Europe, and the US. This year, on the best pizza in Europe list, first place was awarded to Pepe pizzeria in Paris, France, however two spots in the top 20 were occupied by pizzerias located in Brussels, Belgium. Pizzeria ‘La Piola Pizza’, located in the Brussels municipality of Saint-Josse-ten-Noode, came in eighth place, an impressive improvement on last year’s award of 30th place in the top 50. Meanwhile La Pizza è Bella Gourmet in Etterbeek, Brussels, came in 19th place. Here is the complete list of the top 20 pizzerias in Europe:
