Qatar Airways has unveiled a FIFA World Cup Special Livery and Bespoke Onboard Experience to be operated across “key destinations in Europe, the United States, and Asia.” The “bold and dynamic design” aims to bring “the spirit of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ to passengers worldwide,” the airline said in a press release.
Marking the Doha-based carrier’s longstanding partnership with FIFA and its continued role as Official Airline Partner in connecting fans, teams, and global football communities worldwide, the special livery treatment has been given to a Boeing 777-300ER, registered A7-BEH.

The colour scheme borrows the deep “Al Adaam” maroon, and the white of the Qatar flag, alongside FIFA’s medium-electric blue and the World Cup itself, painted in gold. The distinctive striped face of the Arabian Oryx, the Qatari national animal, appears on the tail.
Accompanying the exterior makeover, new interior features include a bespoke cabin dressing inspired by FIFA World Cup 2026™. Designed exclusively for this special livery, the sport-inspired décor is intended to bring “the ambiance and excitement of the tournament into the inflight experience,” the airline said.
An iconic livery for football fans around the globe.

In turn, as it travels the world, carrying its 42 business-class ticket holders and 312 economy-class passengers, the special livery aircraft will help build international excitement as preparations continue for the largest FIFA World Cup edition to date, to be hosted by Canada, Mexico, and the United States. Following the tournament, the aircraft will continue to operate with both the special livery and cabin dressing to commemorate the event, Qatar Airways confirmed.
The ten-year-old plane was previously configured for the 2022 World Cup, according to planespotters.net where notes said is had been “in paint at SNN [Shannon Airport] 4 May 2026” and was “painted in “FIFA Official Airline of the Journey” special colours.”

Qatar Airways is not the only airline to be welcoming passengers aboard with World Cup vibes. American Airlines, the Official North American Airline Supplier of FIFA World Cup 2026 in partnership with the Middle East carrier, is set to launch a new limited-edition collection of US Soccer amenity kits. The collection will debut in June 2026 and will remain available through July, ahead of the tournament.
US Soccer Chief Commercial Officer David Wright hailed the kits as “a creative way for American Airlines to celebrate the summer of soccer and help fans carry that excitement with them, from the airport to the stadium and everywhere in between.”
