The largest outdoor urban photography exhibition in Europe, Photocity, will come to Brussels this summer. From June 17th to September 12th, an exhibition showcasing the work of 80 international photographers will take place in Tour & Taxis, in the heart of Europe.
The agenda includes a few concerts and film screenings in an environment where Covid-related measures will be followed. Activities are also planned to entertain young and old. A small cafeteria will be set up as well as a relaxation space and a bar.
The photographs will be displayed on more than 15,000 square meters inside containers. Photocity has collaborated with National Geographic, which means visitors will be able to admire the exhibition “Women: A Century Of Change”. The exhibitions pays tribute to women from all over the world. They will also be able to marvel at “50 Greatest Wildlife Photographs”, unique snapshots of animals and breathtaking landscapes. They will also enjoy “Colors Of The World”, a colorful exhibition revealing the beauty of the world through settings and stories.
Photocity will also highlight the work of the young Belgian, Derek Malou, the imaginative, France Dubois. The work of the Franco-Mexican, Juan Francisco Hernández, will also be on display. Hernandez specializes in black and white photos. Pictures by the architectural photographer, David Deleu, will be present in the exhibition.
The exhibition will be open from Sunday to Wednesday from 10 am to 7 pm, and from Thursday to Saturday from 10 am to 9 pm. Fees are 10 € for an adult, 9 € for students and seniors, and 8 € for children.
