MSC Cruises has opened bookings for its MSC Yacht Club aboard MSC Musica and MSC Orchestra, expanding its premium “ship-within-a-ship” concept to two more vessels in its fleet. The new offering gives guests access to a more private and exclusive area within the ship, including dedicated spaces and personalised service. Both ships are set to undergo major refurbishments as part of this update. The work will include the addition of the MSC Yacht Club, along with the new dining venues and upgraded wellness facilities. Among the new restaurants are Butcher’s Cut, an American-style steakhouse, and Kaito Sushi Bar, which focuses on Asian cuisine. The MSC Aurea Spa will also be redesigned to include features such as a sauna with sea views, steam rooms, and relaxation areas. In addition, the MSC Gym, developed with Technogym, will offer modern equipment and dedicated spaces for activities like yoga and spinning.

The MSC Yacht Club will include 63 suites, a private restaurant, a lounge, and a sundeck with pools and hot tubs. Guests staying in this section will benefit from 24-hour butler and concierge services, as well as priority access during embarkation and disembarkation. A new Grand Suite option, available only on ships in this class, will offer more space with a separate living area. The concept is designed to combine privacy with easy access to the rest of the ship’s entertainment and facilities.

These upgrades are part of a wider effort by MSC Cruises to modernise its fleet. By mid-2027, all four ships in the Musica class will feature the MSC Yacht Club, including MSC Poesio and MSC Magnifica. With the addition of MSC Musica and MSC Orchestra, the premium concept will be available on 19 ships across the fleet. The company, headquartered in Geneva, continues to invest in upgrades that aim to improve the overall guest experience on board.

A range of itineraries featuring the new MSC Yacht Club is already available to book. MSC Musica will sail in South America from late 2026 to spring 2027, with routes including destinations such as Buenos Aires, Montevideo and Brazilian coastal stops. The ship will later reposition to Europe for Mediterranean cruises, visiting ports like Genoa, Valencia and Marseille. MSC Orchestra will begin its updated sailings from Bari in 2027, exploring the Eastern Mediterranean with stops including Istanbul and Greek islands.
The expansion of the MSC Yacht Club also reflects a broader trend in the cruise industry. Many cruise lines are investing in premium areas that offer more privacy and personalised service within larger ships.
