Mini-Europe in Brussels has reopened for a new season. According to Belgian news outlet VRT, tourists coming from different parts of Belgium will be the main target over the Easter holidays. Last year, the park ran the risk of closing for good but a deal was finally reached with the city of Brussels.
Not far from the iconic Atomium, Mini Europe is an Open-Air Museum where one can visit main European cities in a couple of hours. The Eiffel Tower, Pisa Tower, Trevi fountain, Big Ben, all of them in small but accurate reproductions of the monuments will surprise all visitors.
We kept the UK as a ‘former member’, but we’ve added a line on the ground to indicate to visitors they are leaving the EU.
Thierry Meeùs, Mini-Europe’s CEO
Mini-Europe has been designed to cover many chapters of the recent history in Europe, including the strikes for a better regulation to address climate and Brexit. The UK may have left the EU, but the Big Ben and Westminster Palace have remained.
