It is in Shepherd’s Bush, London, and costs about 1.1 million euros. Possibly the narrowest house in England, the property is on the market and can be visited by making an appointment with real estate agent Winkworth.
The width of the house is only 1.80 meters, which makes people who are too tall unable to lie down in that direction, but that is not what will make the difference. The house has everything you need. The area is 96 square meters and is divided in five floors.
Every surface has been put to use and although it was once a hat store, the entire remodeling was done by fashion photographer Juergen Teller. This has made it a beautiful piece of design and a space that could very much resemble a luxury yacht.
When you enter, you will find a small hall and a living room with sofas and a fireplace. In the basement is the kitchen, with an Aga stove, a glassed-in dining room, and a passage to a garden.
Going up, the second floor has two rooms, one that serves perfectly as a bedroom, and another that could be used as an office. There is also a passage to an open terrace. On the second floor one can find two bathrooms. There is a smaller one, although complete with a shower. Then a sort of small closet and an Art Deco bathtub.
The top floor is where the largest bedroom is, where a double bed fits perfectly. It still has some free space and a small internal balcony where you can peek into the downstairs bathtub.
