Social media conversations around the Keto Diet or Ketogenic Diet have surged by more than 30% in 2021*, when compared to 2020. Redditors have discussed mostly how the Ketogenic Diet helps not only to deal with weight management but also in helping people with diabetes, epilepsy, autoimmune disorder, acid reflux, and hormonal imbalances.

There is a 25% growth in the number of Redditors discussing this diet trend in 2021, over the last year. Discussions were majorly focused on this diet’s health benefits related to people with celiac disease. Redditors have also discussed about various food items of this diet trend such as gluten-free bread, flour, dairy products, and tofu.
3.Intermittent Fasting | 4,800+ discussions
‘Intermittent Fasting’ emerged as the third most discussed diet trend in 2021*. Most of the Redditors have considered the combination of ‘Intermittent Fasting’ with Keto as one of the fastest ways to shed fat. Another top discussion around the same was how people can control the impact of carbs while still eating them.
