Since 1999, the British singer Sting and his wife Trudie Styler own a fabulous sixteen-century villa in the Chianti area, Tuscany. Casa Colonica is a rustic, yet elegant house situated above the “limonaia” (a greenhouse for the cultivation of citrus fruit) and only five minutes away from the main villa.
The Red House, which in the past was used as a carpenter’s workshop, is a smaller charming villa situated across the lawn from the main mansion.
The Chalet was originally used to house rabbits, pigeons and chickens. Now it has been transformed in a studio in the grounds of the main villa, perfect for couples.
The Casino delle Vie is a romantic country house located only 5 minutes’ drive from the main villa. This guesthouse perfectly epitomizes the Tuscan lifestyle.
Finally, the house Senatore Umberto is the largest residence decorated with pieces of art from all around the world and located ten minutes’ drive from the property.
Apart from the guesthouses, Il Palagio can also be rented for special occasions or events, such as anniversaries, birthdays, and weddings. Within the property there are a plethora of elegant and evocative venues, ideal to organize parties and dinners, such as the wine cellar, the loggia, the “limonaia”, the courtyard and the terrace.
