Chessington World of Adventures is set to open the UK’s first PAW Patrol-themed land this spring, offering families an immersive experience based on the popular Nickelodeon series. The £15 million project (€17 million), covering 1.4 acres, will bring the fictional Adventure Bay to life with rides, attractions, and themed hotel rooms.
Construction of the new area began in March 2025, and recently released images show the Lookout Tower, one of the land’s central features, taking shape, with PAW Patrol character Rubble pictured overseeing the work.
The development will feature four rides, each themed around a different member of the PAW Patrol team. Visitors can ride Chase’s Mountain Mission, a family rollercoaster; Skye’s Helicopter Heroes, a spinning aerial adventure; Zuma’s Hovercraft Adventure, the UK’s first “drifter” ride, or hop aboard Marshall’s Firetruck Rescue, which travels through the streets of Adventure Bay.
“Every ride has been designed to make guests feel like they’re stepping into Adventure Bay,” said Sian Hooper, creative director at Merlin Magic Making. “Our goal has been to capture the magic, energy and teamwork that millions of families know and adore from the show.”
Alongside the new land, Chessington is opening five PAW Patrol-themed rooms at its Safari Hotel, each capable of accommodating up to two adults and three children. The additions form part of the park’s wider strategy to integrate its attractions with on-site accommodation.

Ahead of the opening, the resort is also running a competition to appoint a “PAWject Manager,” offering one pre-school child the chance to test the rides and provide feedback before the area opens to the public. Entries are open until 4 March 2026 via Chessington’s website.
The park, which already houses a zoo, SEA LIFE aquarium, and two themed hotels across 128 acres, hopes the new land will add to its appeal for families. The exact opening date has yet to be confirmed, but late spring 2026 is expected.
While Chessington’s World of PAW Patrol will be the first fully dedicated land in the UK, the franchise already has a presence in other international destinations. Movie Park Germany in Bottrop-Kirchhellen, north of Düsseldorf, features an Adventure Bay area within a larger Nickelodeon-themed zone, with rides, meet-and-greets, and interactive play experiences. Nickelodeon Adventure Lakeside in Essex offers a smaller-scale PAW Patrol experience, with themed play zones aimed at younger children. Globally, parks such as The Land of Legends in Antalya, Turkey, also incorporate PAW Patrol attractions alongside other Nickelodeon experiences.
