German vacation airline Eurowings has launched a campaigned called “temperature discount” where the discount is calculated based on the monthly average temperature of the destination. The first destination of choice is Italy.
Because of the moderate climate of Italy, which in September is on average of 23.1 degrees Celsius, guests who book a direct flight to Italy will receive a flight discount of 23.1%.
The discount applies to ll Eurowings destinations in Italy: Cagliari, Bari, Naples, Venice, Lamezia Terme, Brindisi, Milan, Rome, Catania, Bologna and Olbia. The next country with the new “temperature discount” has already been selected and is expected to be published shortly.
With the Eurowings flexibility guarantee, customers can change flights free of charge up to seven days before departure. Flights can also be flexibly re-booked at any time if travel plans change.
