On 14 November 1994, Eurostar began its first cross channel service, running from Waterloo International station in London, to the Paris Nord and Brussels-South train stations. The train service started with a limited Discovery service, with the full daily service kicking off from 28 May 1995.
Now, 30 years later, the high-speed rail service connecting the UK to mainland Europe is marking its anniversary with a 30% discount across all routes and booking classes. Today is the last day of the promotion that started on Tuesday.

Passengers can explore city centre to city centre whilst reducing their carbon footprint significantly.”
The sale, which ends tonight at 10:59 pm GMT (11:59 pm Brussels) offers a 30% discount which applies to all adult tickets to and from London, with savings automatically applied when booking. The booking classes included in the promotion are Eurostar Standard, Eurostar Plus and Eurostar Premier.
The reduced fare applies on routes connecting London with Paris, Lille, Brussels, Amsterdam and Rotterdam, for travel between 26 November 2024 and 13 February 2025, except: 29/11/2024, 30/11/2024/ 01/12/2024, 21/12/2024, 23/12/2024, 26/12/2024, 27/12/2024, 30/12/2024, 08/02/2025 and 09/02/2025. Trains between London St Pancras International – Amsterdam Centraal/ Rotterdam Centraal for travel between 9 and 13 February 2025 inclusive are also not currently on sale and therefore this discount does not apply on this route on those dates.
Eurostar is currently operating an indirect service from Amsterdam Centraal and Rotterdam Centraal to London St Pancras International, with a connection in Brussels Midi. A direct service will recommence on February 10, 2025, with ticket sales opening soon. Bookings made for travel from Amsterdam Centraal or Rotterdam Centraal to London St Pancras International during the sale will still have a 30% discount applied.
