Looking for an escape from the ordinary, a departure from the humdrum of everyday life? Brussels’ latest attraction – the enchanting “Bubble Planet Experience” – might just do the trick. This unique endeavor promises an immersive journey into a realm where bubbles take center stage, appealing to the young and the young-at-heart alike. The experience opened in Brussels, on July 20th, after its international success in several major cities worldwide, such as Milan and Los Angeles.
Presenting a kaleidoscope of vibrant and festive colors, the “Bubble Planet Experience” sweeps visitors into a fantastical world that transcends reality, with VR technology, themed rooms, fantastic landscapes and even a hot air balloon simulator. The experience unfolds within a series of 11 themed rooms to be explored with all five senses, between giant balloons, neon lights, lava lamps and huge soap bubbles.
Among the highlights of this sensory extravaganza is the “Bubble Ocean,” an aquatic haven teeming with playful spheres; and the intriguing “Infinity Room,” where mirrors conjure an illusion of boundless space. One of the eleven unique spaces, the “Cloud Room,” offers a haven of relaxation, inviting guests to recline on plush inflatable clouds. The “Bubble Getaway,” a true sensory playground, features an innovative robot crafting a symphony of bubbles in varying shapes and sizes.
But the journey doesn’t stop there. The “VR Room” whisks participants on a virtual escapade into a realm of imagination, while the pièce de résistance – a hot air balloon flight simulator – elevates the adventure to new heights. All of these captivating experiences are tucked beneath a colossal 3,000m² tent at the renowned Tour & Taxis venue, combining cutting-edge technology with a playful spirit.
Behind the scenes of this enchanting escapade is Exhibition Hub, a Brussels-based company with a decade-long track record of breathing creativity into the world of immersive experiences. Teaming up with Fever, a prominent platform in the entertainment and leisure sector, Exhibition Hub orchestrated the magical “Bubble Planet” adventure, with the vision of making it accessible and enjoyable for all ages. “It is an adventure where everyone will find lots of pleasure”, said Mario Iacampo, the founder of Exhibition Hub. The core objective of the experience, as elucidated by the exhibition designer, is to “provide an escape from the mundane realities of life”.
The “Bubble Planet Experience” offers a multitude of session times throughout the week, from Monday to Thursday, from 10:00 am to 8:30 pm, with its last session being held at 7:00 pm. A ticket to this bubble-filled adventure ranges from €10.90 for children (ages 4–17) to €13.90 for adults (ages 18–64).
