Christmas is coming, and we will soon be thinking of original gift ideas for friends, family and colleagues. The shops will soon be overflowing with the usual selection of socks, festive jumpers, chocolates and bubbles.
But for those looking for something a bit different, one Belgian company has once again come up with a particularly creative idea.

24 days of hoppy surprises
For the fifth year in a row, Brussels Beer Project (BBP) is back with its much-anticipated Advent Calendar, a true collector’s item for hop enthusiasts. Behind every window lies a different BBP beer, 24 creations in total to be enjoyed each day until Christmas.
The box contains a mix of BBP’s famous flagship brews and limited editions, from familiar classics to freshly canned exclusives. Among the highlights are icons such as Delta IPA, the first IPA to win over Brussels, and its alcohol-free sibling, Delta Zero.
The selection also features brand-new releases straight from the tanks, such as Stranger Days, a double mirabelle gose brewed in collaboration with the Estonian brewery Põhjala, and Pumpkin Latte, a spiced and indulgent autumn treat. Yeti Bang, BBP’s ultimate winter warmer, also makes its long-awaited return.

A fresh design for 2025
The 2025 edition sports a new look by illustrator Aysha, whose bright, colourful style is described as “an invitation to escape” and “the perfect cure for winter blues.” Every detail on the box is alive with festive energy, playful graphics and a modern twist, according to a BBP spokesperson.
The city of Brussels, often misunderstood yet full of charm, is cleverly hidden throughout the artwork with nods to BBP’s Dansaert and Bailli taprooms, the Port Sud brewery and the surrounding neighbourhoods. This design underlines how Brussels Beer Project remains deeply rooted in its home city, open both to its people and to the world.
As a playful touch, the back of the box features a reinvented version of the traditional Game of Goose, this time designed to be enjoyed without moderation.

The ultimate companion for winter nights
Priced at €79, the BBP Advent Calendar is presented as the perfect companion for long winter evenings, a thoughtful Christmas gift to offer, share, or simply enjoy alone. It includes 24 beers, a mix of classics and limited editions, available for pre-order on the BBP website and in-store from November at the BBP shop on Rue Antoine Dansaert 182 in Brussels. The shop is open Tuesday to Friday from 16:00 to 20:00 and on Saturday from 14:00 to 20:00.
And if one of the beers steals your heart, the full range is available at BBP taprooms in Brussels (Dansaert and Bailli), Paris (Pigalle and Canal Saint-Martin) and Lille (Le Bettignies).

A decade of brewing innovation
Founded in 2013, the Brussels Beer Project has been reinventing the Belgian beer scene with collaborative, innovative and sustainable creations. With two breweries in Brussels, including Port Sud, a B-Corp certified sustainable site, and six taprooms across Europe, BBP has brewed more than 500 unique recipes to date.
The taprooms and breweries can also be privatised for events, from after-work gatherings to birthdays and festive get-togethers among friends and colleagues. “They offer a unique setting to celebrate the season among the tanks,” said the BBP spokesperson.
