As of 18 July 2025, Emirates’ First Class customers and Skywards Platinum members can enjoy a new, luxurious, and unique airport experience at Dubai International. The check-in area located at Terminal 3 has been refurbished and transformed into Emirates First.
Emirates is the world’s biggest airline in terms of first class travel. Every week, 26,800 first class seats are available aboard the airline’s aircraft and the premium experience is a big part of Emirate’s experience. And because a first class voyage doesn’t just start once inside the plane, the airline has now refurbished its check-in area located at Terminal 3 of its Dubai International hub to make it fit in better with its overall brand identity.
“We invest heavily in upgrading our ground products, and Emirates First is one of the areas that will offer a unique and private environment to our First Class customers and Skywards Platinum members. We know our customers value privacy and convenience, and this will provide another level of hospitality to the check-in experience, as part of our efforts to continuously uplift the overall travel journey,” said Adel al Redha, Emirates’ Deputy President & Chief Operating Officer.

The dedicated area, clad in golden hues, offers a private escape from the hustle and bustle of the airport. Once inside, First Class customers and Skywards Platinum members can enjoy the calm and luxury of Emirates First, where premium materials have been arranged in such a way as to breathe calmness.
In order to make the experience even more of an escape from dily reality, all advertising panels have been removed from the area and have been replaced by soft-hued integrated lighting. Marble floors, leather seats, and greenery are reminiscent of a luxury hotel rather than of an airport.
However, Emirates First goes even further by offering premium services too. For example, check in formalities can be performed on iPads while guests are seated. Afterwards, travellers are guided through Security and Immigration, after which they can proceed to one of the three dedicated Emirates First Class Lounges in Terminal 3.

First class experience
Once inside the lounges, chef-crafted à la carte meals, fine wines, spirits and Champagne, complimentary spa treatments, business centres, kids’ areas, and concierge duty free shopping are available to make time go by more quickly before catching a flight.
“Now, our customers can enjoy a sleek transfer with our Chauffeur Drive Service, a swift check-in at the exclusive Emirates First, explore a world-class lounge before boarding, and relax into a multi award-winning inflight experience with Emirates,” continued Adel al Redha.
Emirates concentrates on offering an extensive off-board first class experience. First Class customers have complimentary access to 43 dedicated Emirates Lounges across the globe. A complimentary chauffeur drive assures seamless door-to-door transfers across most destinations in order to complete the offer.
