2020 has been both an indelible and forgettable year. Our lives have been, one way or another, affected by the pandemic and its consequences. 1. MLK/FBI
Dr. Martin Luther King a Baptist member and a social activist who in the 1950s led the civil rights movement in the United States. An American hero who then went on to win a Nobel prize. In this documentary, you will be able to see the detailed account of the FBI surveillance that tried to escape King’s activism in the ‘50s and ‘60s, fueled by racism and red-baiting. MLK/FBI addresses the legacy of the former, the dark history of the leadoff, and the ugly collision.

3. Minari
A Korean family lured by the American dream, lead actor Steven Yeun wants to start his own farm, with complex issues arising making it both predictable and unanticipated. With a touch of comedy from a hilarious grandma. Love remains constant and it shows the tenderness between the family. Giving you a rush of emotions altogether. Smiling and laughing with a drop of a tear.

4. Nobody
A fan of John Wick or Better Call Saul? Sometimes the man you don’t notice is the danger of them all. An underestimated husband and dad that is overlooked taking life’s indignities on the chin and never pushing back. A nobody. When two burglars break into his home one night, He refuses to defend himself or his family, hoping it would prevent any serious violence. His teenage son and his wife are disappointed with him. This incident further leads to him becoming someone filled with rage propelling him to walk on a brutal path to save his family so that he is never underestimated again.

6. A Quiet Place Part II
Forced to venture into the unknown Evelyn and her family are on the move to find a safe place to hide from sound sensitive creatures who are on the mission to destroy humanity. Survival is impossible but Evelyn is brave and tries to save as many as she can even though she may not want to.

8. Fast & Furious 9
All of us are familiar with the Fast and Furious movies, it portrays family and friendships through difficult times. Dom is played by the famously known Vin Diesel, an assassin, a talented thief and driver who is against his Brother Jakob (John Cena) This time, the threat for Dom to confront the sins of his past to save his family who are in danger. His crew ensemble to stop a shattering plot led by the most skilled assassin : a man who turns out to be Dom’s forsaken brother, Jako.
