Bali, known as “the Island of God ”, is located in Indonesia. This wonderful island is the most visited place in South East Asia. Bali is famous for the beauty of nature, its warm people, its traditions, and much more. 1. Nusa Penida
This amazing place was discovered by tourists who reached this beach by boat. They came back a few years later and after that, this place became the famous place of Nusa Penida.
2. Kanto Lampo Waterfalls
The Kanto Lampo Waterfall was created after the Kanto Lampo river region was hit by an avalanche. This waterfall is in the Kelod Kangin hamlet, Beng village in Gianyar, Bali. Kanto Lampo became famous after one influencer posted some pictures on Instagram. This place is very easy to reach.
3. Campuhan Ridge
Campuhan Ridge is located in Ubud, it is a really beautiful walk filled with greenery and hills. Surrounded by rice fields, and just nature, this place must be visited.
4. Monkey Forest
The place called “Monkey Forest” is located in Ubud. It is so-called because this place is a sanctuary and a natural habitat of the Balinese long-tailed Monkey. More than 1,000 monkeys live in this sanctuary. If you want to take a selfie with the monkey you just need to buy bananas… But take care of your things and especially your glasses: the monkeys might steal them from you 😊.
5. Kuta Beach
Kuta beach is the famous beach in Kuta. Some people say that this place is too crowded and so touristy, but during the sunset it is really beautiful to visit.
6. Seminyak Beach
If you want to enjoy the sunset under a beautiful umbrella with a glass of local beer this place is certainly for you. Seminyak Beach is a beautiful white sandy beach located in the north of Legian Beach.
7. Jatiluwih Ricefields
Bali has plenty of beautiful rice fields or paddy fields, but the most stunning one is in Jatiluwih.
8. Ulun Danu Temple
Ulun Danu Temple, also named Pura Bratan, is a major Hindu Shaivite Shiva temple located on the shores of Lake Bratan in the mountains near Bedugul. Built in 1633, the temple is used for offerings and ceremonies dedicated to the Balinese water, lake and river goddess Dewi Danu, due to the importance of Lake Bratan as a main source of irrigation in central Bali.
9. Lempuyang Temple
This temple is also known as “the gate of Heaven” and is located within the slope of Mount Lempuyang in Karangasem. It gives you the illusion of a water reflection; but in reality, it is a trick of the photographer using glass for the reflection.
10. Ubud
Ubud is a town on the Indonesian island of Bali in Ubud District. This beautiful town is located amongst rice paddies and steep ravines in the central foothills of the Gianyar regency. It is known as an art and culture centre. Ubud is one of the most visited place in Bali.
