Winter Wonders (Plaisirs d’hiver) will be back this year in Brussels taking place in the city center from November 26 to January 2 despite new measures. The organizers have stated they are in constant contact with the City of Brussels and the competent authorities to monitor the evolution of the health situation.
Mayor Philippe Close and I confirm our wish to organize the Winter Wonders this year.

“Following the latest declarations on health regulations, the City of Brussels and the organisers of Winter Wonders are studying several possibilities,” the organisation announced “Various plans and scenarios are on the table. Meetings are being held between the various interested parties. More news will follow as soon as possible.”
According to the Brussels Times, a web shop has also been created to allow retailers that should have been at the market to sell their wares.
Another activity that will be back this year is the Winter Pop and its magical atmosphere. Several dates in various neighborhoods have been planned:
- From Friday 26 to Sunday 28 November at Place de la Chapelle in the Marolles
- From Friday 3 to Sunday 5 December at Place Peter Benoît in Neder-Over-Heembeek
- From Friday 10 to Sunday 12 December at Square Ambiorix in the European district
- From Friday 17 to Sunday 19 December at Tivoli in the Garden of the Just in Laeken
We are in contact with the federal and regional authorities to finalize the practical details to organize this unmissable winter event in the best conditions
