UNO, the beloved family card game known for its colour-matching chaos and friendship-testing reverse cards, is heading to Las Vegas. Toy and entertainment company Mattel has announced the launch of its first-ever UNO Social Club, a fun pop-up experience at the Palms Casino Resort, running from 18 to 20 July. It’s not real-money gambling, yet no less fun and excitement are promised.
“We created UNO Social Clubs to reimagine what game night can be—bringing people together for real-world fun, connection, and a bit of friendly competition,” said Ray Adler, Vice President and Global Head of Games at Mattel. “The UNO Social Club in Las Vegas is just the beginning, and we’re excited to see how these new experiences inspire players to show up, play hard, and make unforgettable memories.”

Fans all over the world may enter the ongoing contest to win the UNO Social Club vacation in Las Vegas by sharing an original TikTok video with the hashtags #UNOSocialClub and #MattelContest, along with the new UNO Reverse Card filter. After being selected, the lucky winner will be invited to stay in a technicolour luxury suite with a decor inspired by the game’s signature colours. The venue will be filled with UNO-themed elements, such as a private bowling lane, gaming tables, a private dealer, and a variety of UNO game extensions that fans have never played before. The exclusive event will also feature a custom bar with themed UNO cocktails and tournament-style matches – an adult playground with a nostalgic core.
The new venue is promised to be the ultimate game night destination. “UNO Social Clubs transforms game nights into an elevated social experience where friends connect, compete and create memories in venues across the country,” says the press release.
The internet quickly lit up with memes and hot takes. “That plus‑4 card about to end lives, not friendships now,” joked one X user. Another added, “I can’t wait to lose my life savings in a game of high‑stakes UNO.”

This Las Vegas pop-up marks the beginning of a broader initiative. Mattel plans to roll out UNO Social Clubs in major cities later this year, turning local bars and lounges into UNO-themed hotspots, complete with tournaments and customised versions of the game.
While the Palms event doesn’t include gambling, the cultural gamble seems to be paying off, offering fans a new way to engage with a game they’ve known since childhood.
