Oceania Cruises has announced a new 129-day global voyage, dubbed the ‘Kangaroo Route,’ set to depart from Sydney on 26 February 2027 and culminate in London on 5 July 2027. This extensive journey aboard the 1,200-passenger Oceania Vista ship will visit over 80 ports across 34 countries and four continents.
The itinerary includes overnight stays in Cairns, Shanghai, Tokyo, Singapore, Mumbai, Luxor, and Bordeaux, allowing travellers to immerse themselves in local cultures. Following its journey along Australia’s shores, the voyage will spend two months exploring Asia, taking travellers from the islands of Indonesia to Japan and India. The trip will then move on to the Middle East, marking destinations like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Doha.
“Our new Kangaroo Route, crafted from the epic 2027 Around the World cruise, is much more than a voyage – it’s a rare invitation to experience a vast part of the world with the comfort, warmth, sophistication and exceptional cuisine that Oceania Cruises is renowned for,” said Jason Montague, Chief Luxury Officer of Oceania Cruises.
The journey promises an unforgettable experience, offering guests the chance to sail past some of the world’s most captivating coastlines, discover rich historical and cultural landmarks, and uncover hidden gems along the way. Stops will include destinations such as Bali, Koh Samui, Dubai, Doha, and Sicily, with curated shore excursions highlighting gastronomy, wine, heritage, and architecture.
In Europe, the itinerary features the radiant coastlines of Greece and Italy, medieval towns of Croatia, picturesque villages of Sicily and the Italian Riviera, the charming French Riviera, Spain’s Costa del Sol, and the renowned wine regions of France, with the journey concluding in London.
“We’re thrilled to offer this immersive new journey of exploration in 2027, aboard Oceania Vista, spanning four and a half remarkable months,” added Montague. “Our guests crave enriching journeys, and this itinerary has been thoughtfully designed to effortlessly blend diverse continents, vibrant cultures and authentic cuisines into one utterly unforgettable experience.”
The Oceania Vista offers an all-veranda accommodation experience, with spacious staterooms measuring 291 square feet. The ship boasts 11 diverse dining venues, including Aquamar Kitchen, the Italian restaurant Toscana, and the Pan-Asian Red Ginger, along with striking French cuisine and menus inspired by healthy-living principles.

Guests can unwind in eight bars and lounges, enjoy various entertainment venues, or relax and rejuvenate at the spa and vitality centre. They will also have the opportunity to participate in culinary experiences both ashore and onboard, from guided Culinary Discovery Tours to hands-on cooking classes at The Culinary Center.

The ship is designed to provide a comfortable and sophisticated onboard experience for travellers seeking an extended voyage. Fares for this exclusive journey start at $54,999 per person, with special offers available, including the choice of unlimited wine, beer, and spirits or an $8,000 shore excursion credit. Bookings are now open for those looking to embark on this once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
