Oasis fans are already driving a surge in travel searches for cities hosting the band’s 2027 tour, even before tickets go on sale later this week.
New data from online travel agency eDreams shows sharp increases in searches for flights to several European destinations on the Oasis Live ’27 itinerary, highlighting the growing influence of major concerts on travel demand.
Glasgow recorded the biggest surge, with travel searches soaring by 2,400% compared with the same period last year, which is a 25-fold increase ahead of Oasis tour opening at Celtic Park in May.
Manchester, the band’s hometown, recorded an 846% increase in searches, while Rome saw a 659% rise and Barcelona was up 655%. Searches for Dublin increased by 614%, Amsterdam by 592% and Paris by 279%. The impact is also being felt across the Atlantic, where Las Vegas recorded a 692% increase and Boston searches climbed by 487%.

Due to high demand, Oasis has announced additional 2027 shows at Knebworth on 25 and 26 September, Rome on 26 July and Munich on 6 July. The band has also rescheduled its Paris concerts to 20 and 23 July due to planned railway engineering works near the venue on 24 July.
The figures represent travel searches rather than confirmed bookings, but suggest fans are already exploring transport and accommodation options before knowing whether they will secure concert tickets.
“Fans are no longer just buying a ticket; they’re building entire trips around a single show, and that’s reshaping demand in cities far beyond the venue itself,” Pablo Caspers, Chief Travel Officer at eDreams, told Euronews Travel.
Oasis announced their Live ’27 tour earlier this month following the success of their reunion tour in 2025. The new tour will take the band across the UK, Ireland, mainland Europe and the United States, with stops including Glasgow, Manchester, Munich, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris, Rome, Boston, Las Vegas, Slane Castle and Knebworth.

Registration has already closed, with successful applicants set to receive unique, non-transferable codes giving them access to staggered ticket sales between 25 and 27 September. Registration does not guarantee either a code or a ticket, and there will be no general sale or other public presales.
The surge follows a record year for music tourism in the UK, where major concerts have increasingly become drivers of domestic and international travel. Oasis’ 2025 comeback tour was among the events contributing to the boom, with UK Music estimating that music tourists spent a record £10 billion across the country in 2025.
The trend extends beyond Oasis. Major concerts and sporting events have increasingly triggered spikes in flight searches, with recent data showing strong travel demand around performances by artists including Céline Dion and Shakira, as well as Formula 1 events.
With Oasis tickets yet to reach fans, the early surge in searches suggests the band’s next tour is already having an impact well beyond concert venues, as travellers begin planning trips around one of 2027’s biggest live music events. The tour is set to kick off at Celtic Park in Glasgow on 21 May and wrap up at Knebworth in England on 25 and 26 September.
