Miles & More, Europe’s leading loyalty programme for mobile people, has gained a new strong partner in its service portfolio with the ride-sharing platform Uber. As of now, members can earn attractive award miles for rides that are arranged via the Uber app in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The offer is aimed at customers who have registered in the Uber app with a German, Austrian or Swiss cell phone number and have saved their Miles & More service card number in their Uber account.
“The partnership with Uber is a real win for us. It offers a unique new added value to participate in our programme and has a high relevance along the travel chain,” said Armin Czapla, Senior Director Partner Sales & Ambient at Miles & More GmbH. “Especially for business travellers and members that travel a lot, the opportunity to earn additional miles with Uber in the DACH region can make a real difference to their mileage account. If successful, we plan to expand the partnership internationally in the future.”
Through the partnership with Miles & More, Uber users can now continue to earn miles on their trips even after landing.

All rides arranged through Uber count. Whether within the city for dinner or across the country. One mile is credited for every euro spent on rides. In addition to the miles earned on regular trips, air travelers, in particular, benefit from the offer with Uber. Anyone who orders a ride via the Uber app on the way to or from the airport earns two bonus miles for every euro paid. The cooperation was initiated together with the Lufthansa InnovationHub and is thus a real success story in cross-divisional cooperation.
