BON Luxury Theme Park will be catering towards all generations and will include some 23 attractions. During its first opening year, the park will only be open to guests staying at the nearby Nuevo Vallarta resort.
Since 1 December 2025, the city of Puerto Vallarta in Mexico, a coastal destination between the Sierra Madre mountains and the Pacific Ocean, has been home to a new exclusive experience called VidantaWorld. The new vacation destination designed by Grupo Vidanta aims to elevate the experience staged by entertainment giants and cruise titans.
While the boutique, all-suite luxury BON Hotel opened its doors on 1 December, the water-themed Cirque du Soleil production called LÚDŌ, housed in a $200 million, custom-built theatre with a 360-degree aquatic stage and wrap-around aquarium, debuted on 16 December 2025. And after an opening concert by music legend Lionel Richie on 11 December 2025, Michael Bublé will be headlining the first show in the 2026 VidantaWorld Concert Series at VidantaWorld Nuevo Vallarta on 21 May – marking a year filled with performances by world-renowned artists.
“VidantaWorld isn’t just entering the theme park destination market — we are elevating the guest experience and extending the market beyond families with young kids to better cater to active adults, multi-generational families and premium-minded, discerning couples with high service expectations,” said Michel Beuffe, Chief Operations Officer for VidantaWorld.
An all-generations luxury experience
However, the most surprising part of the Nuevo Vallarta resort is scheduled to open only during the Fall of 2026. The BON (Beauty of Nature) Luxury Theme Park is marketed as the world’s first luxury theme park, featuring “an all-generations experience that blends thrilling attractions, relaxation, elevated service and natural beauty”.
At the moment of writing, industry mainstays P&P Projects, Intamin, Zamperla, Vekoma, Mack Rides, and Brogent are working together on designing the theme park. The offer is set to include coasters, family attractions, and media-driven experiences worthy of international theme parks while also blending in with the luxurious atmosphere of the site.
Overall, 23 attractions, 16 shops, and 25 restaurants will be available to visitors. Immersive themed lands, including BON Plaza, Fantasy Gardens, Empire of Light, Land of Legends, and the Cirque du Soleil Zone, will make up the park.
“VidantaWorld truly is ‘the best of all possible worlds’ because soon, families will no longer have to choose between a luxury beach resort vacation, a theme park destination, or a mega yacht experience. At VidantaWorld, you can have it all,” continued Michel Beuffe.
Those who want to enjoy BON Luxury Theme Park from the start will, however, need to book a stay at the Nuevo Vallarta resort, as it will be open only to guests during its first year of existence. According to Grupo Vidant, capacity is intentionally limited to keep waits short and service attentive. Some 3,000 rooms and suites are available at the BON Hotel and other accommodations at VidantaWorld Nuevo Vallarta.
