Azamara Cruises, an award-winning small-ship cruise line, has recently unveiled its latest itinerary for a cruise that promises to be the longest in the company’s history. This cruise will take place aboard the Azamara Quest, a mid-sized ship featuring an intimate but not crowded deck plan.
The cruise will set sail on 5 January 2027 from San Francisco. Passengers will embark on a 188-night journey, visiting over 100 destinations across 5 continents and 37 countries. This trip will blend Azamara’s intimate small-ship experience with opportunities to explore some of the world’s most renowned cities, including Tokyo, New York, Amsterdam, and Sydney.
Once the cruise departs, it will journey directly to Hawaii before it heads to Fiji, Tahiti Bora Bora and the coast of Australia. After this, the ship will explore Asia for two months having stops in China, Japan, and Thailand. After this, the cruise will sail the Pacific Ocean toward Alaska before traveling to North America. At the end of the cruise, Amazara Quest will take a cross-oceanic direction and head to Europe where passengers will have the opportunity to explore Ireland, Germany, Sweden and Estonia. The end point of the world cruise is Denmark, and more specifically Copenhagen on 12 July 20207.
This world tour can accommodate 702 passengers, granting them access to major cruise ports and narrow routes that larger vessels cannot enter. For instance, during the adventure, Azamara Quest will pass through Germany’s Kiel Canal and sail directly to Shanghai.

A highlight of the world cruise will be the extended time in port, featuring 50 late-night departures and 15 overnight stays, which will allow for longer and more immersive experiences at each destination. Additionally, the cruise will provide authentic cultural experiences through land excursions and Azamara’s renowned AzAmazing Evenings, showcasing 12 events designed to further immerse guests in the local culture.
Those interested in reserving the entire cruise will enjoy additional benefits to enhance their journey. These perks include access to 15 exclusive events, $8,500 (€8,332) onboard credit, unlimited wash-and-fold laundry, and more. Furthermore, guests will benefit from unlimited Wi-Fi and upgrades to the Premium Beverage Package during the voyage. Prices for the cruise start at $85,559 (€83,876) per person for an inside cabin.
