Going on a holiday is great, we all agree. It’s the perfect way to disconnect, to relax, to discover new things in life. Yet sometimes, especially when you’re very busy at work and afterwards, you just want some time off at home. After all, most of us have spent quite a lot of money and effort on our homes and the pandemic only contributed to that. Speaking of that: sure, we’re glad that almost all health measures are over and done with. We’re glad to be able to see our loved ones again. But sometimes, we’re craving for all that free time we had at home during lockdown.
However, it’s not too late to get some quality time at home. Sure, you have to put a bit more effort into it because these days, it can actually be difficult to keep a blank space in your agenda. But if you’re motivated enough we’re sure you can liberate a few days in your busy schedule to just stay home and relax. To enjoy your carefully curated interior, to make a loaf of bread and – if you’re lucky – to enjoy the sound of birds chirping in your garden.
Bell tents
If you want to make your literal staycation even more special, we’ve found the perfect way to do so. Belgian label Autentic has just released a series of five different luxury tents, which are perfect if you want to turn your backyard into a personal glamping experience. The so-called Bell tents are made out of cotton and come in a range of different sizes, from 2,6 meters to 7 meters in diameter. Clearly, there’s something for everyone out there and that doesn’t just apply to the sizing. The tents come in five different colours as well: Turmeric, Roasted Pumpkin, Moss, Aubergine and Desert. Whatever your garden looks like, there will be a tint to your taste.
No matter if you want to use the tent as a temporary glamping set-up, as an extra room or as some kind of pool house, the design is easy to adapt. And even though cotton might not seem as such a sturdy material, it is. The tents were thoroughly tested for their waterproof qualities, mold resistance and UV-discoloration to make sure they’ll stand the test of time.
Honestly, we can already picture ourselves getting to know our garden from a whole different perspective. Sleeping surrounded by nature, having a drink on the porch of our tent, spending time with our loved ones… We’re summer-ready!
