The Croatian peninsula Istria is well known for many things – from culture and food to the perfect Mediterranean climate, but one thing it is most well known for is the tradition of wine production dating back to ancient times when it was brought to perfection. The four kinds of Istrian soil – red, grey, black and white – give the wines character and uniqueness while the traditional techniques and winemakers love and passion result in the highest quality. Here we bring you a selection of wineries where you can taste this nectar of Gods.
