Let’s face it, the times when our vacation pictures were just meant to go in our family photo album are long gone. Back then, nobody besides you (and maybe your mom) cared about how you looked in those. Or where they were taken. Or how aesthetically pleasing they were. It was all about capturing that moment, whether it was to be able to prove afterwards that you threw a tantrum over a scoop of ice cream or because your dad really wanted to remember climbing that mountain, pulling it out of the album every now and then for years after when he wanted to brag about it over Christmas dinner.
Nowadays, however, things are a bit different. We no longer take the effort of putting together a photo album (at least not a physical one) and most of our pictures end up on our social media instead of anywhere else. That entails a few different things. First of all, more people can look at them and judge on your pose, your outfit or your facial expression. Secondly, if you want to keep things balanced on your Instagram or TikTok feed, you’ll have to think about colour and exposition. Thirdly, our vacations now tend to adapt themselves to the picture we (have to) take instead of the other way around.
And even though that is a bit sad, you can also try to see the positive side of that. After all, if you’re thinking more about where to go, you might discover new places and actually get to enjoy that little outing. That being said, we’re all for spontaneous discoveries and walking around without phone or anything else to guide you – more often than not, that’s how you discover the real gems.
Today, however, we are telling you where to go. More precisely, we’ve gathered a list of 10 different pink places all over the world that’ll do great on you social media profiles.
