2. Snowshill
This small village is located in Gloucestershire not far from Broadway just over the border in Worcestershire. The most popular tourist attraction is the Snowshill Manor, a manor house turned National Trust property which is open to the public and contains an unusual collection of furniture, musical instruments, craft tools, toys, clocks, bicycles and armor, all collected by architect and craftsman Charles Paget Wade between 1900 and 1951.

Stanton village is a spring line settlement at the foot of the Cotswold escarpment and is special because it is built almost completely of Cotswold stone, a honey-colored Jurassic limestone which colours many of the villages in the area. The historical buildings in the village such as Old Manor Farmhouse, Wormington Grange, Sheppey Corner Cottage and St Michael and All Angels parish church stand elegant and unique, like something from a postcard.
