The Trump Organization has revealed plans to launch a new mobile phone device called T1 Phone by Trump Mobile, offering unlimited calls, text, and data for $47.45 (approximately €41) per month. On 16 June 2025, the business organization of the US President – managed by his eldest sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump – announced that the gold-coloured T1 Phone will launch in August for $499 (approximately €433).
The phone will feature a fingerprint sensor, face recognition unlock, 256 GB of storage, and 12 GB of RAM. Powered by Android, the device will operate under a limited license using the “Trump” name. It’s unknown who will manufacture the smartphones, with Trump Mobile highlighting that it is not involved in the design, development, and manufacturing of products and services “distributed or sold by The Trump Organization or any of their respective affiliates or principals.”

“Trump Mobile is going to change the game, we’re building on the movement to put America first, and we will deliver the highest levels of quality and service,” said Donal Trump Jr. According to Eric Trump, the Trump Mobile plan will “revolutionize cell phones” as it will be “cheaper, you’re going to have more internet, and more international dialling for free.”
The plan will offer complimentary calls to over 100 countries, encompassing locations with US military bases. Moreover, subscribers will receive 24/7 roadside assistance via Drive America and access to telehealth service. Those interested in purchasing the T1 Phone would be required to do a downpayment of $100. However, despite the announcement that the phone will be released in August, Trump Mobile website states that it will begin sales in September.

According to a statement from the Trump Organization, the new service was designed to mark the 10th anniversary of President Trump’s initial presidential campaign announcement. The mobile plan, called the 47 Plan in reference to Trump being the 47th US President, will not require a contract or credit check, reported the company. Eric Trump stated that the new phone and service are intended to support his father’s agenda of promoting American manufacturing and job creation.
This move directly targets major manufacturers like Apple, which has been under pressure from Trump to move production from China and India back to the US. In May, the President warned that he might impose a 25% tariff on Apple products if the company does not relocate some of its manufacturing operations to America.

According to Wedbush analyst Dan Ives, manufacturing iPhones in the US would significantly increase their price to $3,500 (approximately €3,042) per unit. This is over three times the current retail price of around $1,000 (approximately €869), primarily due to the higher costs associated with US-based production.
