There are many unique places to stay around the world, but for any fan of the British pop group Spice Girls, nothing can quite compare with one of Airbnb’s latest listings.
Thanks to Spice Girls superfan, Suzanne Godley from Greater Manchester, UK, fans can now stay in the famous 90’s pop band’s iconic Spice Bus. Converted into Airbnb accommodation in 2019, the original tour bus from the movie Spice World has had an interior makeover involving Godley, Airbnb and some incredible designers, and you can now stay the night and live out every fan’s wildest dreams.
Located overlooking Island Harbour Marina on the Isle of Wight, UK, guests can enjoy a Bar, Restaurant and a small shop on site, and the bus is reachable us by land, air or sea. From the outside the bus looks exactly as it did in the Spice World movie, with its iconic Union Jack-painted exterior, whilst the inside features some fairly bold interiors and many decorative touches inspired by the singers and their music.
Upstairs the bus sleeps up to three people, with two sharing a double bed and one on a single day bed, and there is a separate dressing room area complete with rail and dressing table perfect for Spice Girl-inspired makeovers. Downstairs you can still see the driver’s seat at the front of the bus, whilst towards the back there’s a spacious seating area with a table and three Union Jack cinema-style chairs for relaxing in front of the TV or listening to Wannabe on repeat on the old school CD player. There is also a facilities block onsite, located a few steps from the bus for guest’s private use.
It’s hard to imagine a more perfect get away for a Spice Girls fan, so why not book your stay and spice up your life!
