After winning an Academy Award for his role in The Brutalist, actor Adrien Brody has taken on a new role as ambassador for the Aluminium Collection luggage line by Monos. Brody travelled to Tangier, Morocco, to shoot the promotional campaign.
Fittingly for a campaign featuring an Oscar-winning actor, the Monos film, titled ‘Kismet’, was directed by Mexico City-based filmmaker and photographer Alexis Gomez. It showcases Adrien Brody walking through the Tangier cityscape, meeting locals while absorbing the sights and sounds the city has to offer.
The ad is set up much like a short movie, with cinematic camera angles and a slower pace than usual. The video will be used across Monos’s social media channels as well as for out-of-home advertising.
“Growing up in New York — a city full of diversity and unexpected encounters — ignited a thirst for adventure. I often find myself on location in different places while working on films, which is exciting; I love to explore, to travel, to get lost and find my way. Traveling reminds me that borders are irrelevant, no matter how different cultures or people may seem, we’re all just people living our unique stories”, Brody said about the collaboration with Monos.
Aluminium collection details

“His unique perspective and undeniable charm make him the ideal ambassador for our brand. His influence and deep connection with his audience will not only elevate the collection but also deepen the Monos experience, creating a lasting impact on our community”, Victor Tam, cofounder of Monos, commented on why Brody is ideal for this role.
All Monos luggage purchased directly from the brand or through authorised third-party retailers is covered by a lifetime warranty, extended to the original owner of the item. The warranty includes cracks or breaks in the shell, wheels, handles, or telescoping handles that become unusable, as well as broken zippers.
