Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons will introduce a new ceremony venue at Disneyland Resort in California, allowing couples to marry in the courtyard of the Haunted Mansion beginning in July 2026.
The announcement is part of the company’s 35th anniversary celebrations for its wedding program, which began in the early 1990s and has since expanded across Disney’s global resorts and cruise line operations. The anniversary celebration will include multiple reveals, shared weekly on Disney’s official blog and social media channels, ranging from new venues to fashion and packaged experiences.
The Haunted Mansion venue will be available for early morning ceremonies before the park opens to the public and will accommodate up to 25 guests, including the couple. According to Disney, packages include an officiant, light décor, photography services and transportation to and from a Disneyland Resort hotel.
The Haunted Mansion, one of Disneyland’s longstanding attractions since 1969, underwent renovation and expansion in 2024. Disney officials say demand has increased for venues that reflect couples’ personal interests and have a strong storytelling behind them. “Haunted Mansion has long been a fan favourite, and the new venue gives couples another option for a distinctive destination wedding,” said Korri McFann, marketing director for Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons.

Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings operates at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disneyland Resort in California. Other destinations include Aulani, a resort in Hawaii, and Disney Castaway Cay in The Bahamas, as well as settings on Disney Cruise Line ships. According to the data, Disney parks had hosted more than 30,000 weddings by 2017, with ceremonies ranging from intimate gatherings to large celebrations.
At Walt Disney World Resort, locations have included places such as the Disney Wedding Pavilion near Cinderella Castle, gardens, and themed spaces in parks like Epcot and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Couples can select from over 50 venues across Disney destinations worldwide. In 2025 and 2026, new spots beyond Haunted Mansion have been added, such as Magnolia Park Terrace near the attraction and additional garden settings at Disneyland.
In addition to unveiling new venues, Disney Weddings is also promoting its Boutique Tour events. Held annually in select U.S. cities, the limited-capacity gatherings give engaged couples the opportunity to meet individually with Disney Weddings consultants and learn more about venue selections, planning details and available services.
