Florida based Cruise line, Villa Vie Residences, has just announced its Tour La Vie program, taking advantage of the recent elections in the US and Donald Trump’s win for a second term.
Without mentioning the president’s name, the line revealed a flexible and customisable journey of up to 4 years, on which customers can embark at any point. The nod to the elections is in the names of the “exclusive offers”.
The 1-year “Escape from Reality” would be a great option for those who don’t want to spend 4 years on a ship, but still want to get away from the States for the post-election chaos. The 2-year “Mid-Term Selection” is for the civic conscious citizens who want to be back in time to choose their Representatives and governors.
Meanwhile, the 3-year “Everywhere but Home” package is for those who only want to get back in time to prepare for the 2028 presidential elections, while the 4-year “Skip Forward” journey is for those who truly want nothing to do with the US until Trump finishes his second term and leaves the Oval Office.
“Villa Vie offers a unique one-of-a-kind way see the whole world at a slow pace where you have enough time to actually experience the cultural vibe of every port”, said Anne Alms, Head of Sales for Villa Vie Residences. “Your villa is your bedroom, and the ship is your home, she’ll take you across the globe to endless horizons.”
The line’s ship, Villa Vie Odyssey, has just entered its 2nd month of a planned 15-year tour around the world. For the 4-year “Skip Forward” journey, it will stop at over 425 ports across 140 countries. It will be spending a month in the Caribbean before embarking on a 4-month South American journey featuring 2 Panama Canal transits, 2 World Wonders, the Chilean Fjords, an Antarctic sail-by, Carnival in Rio and an 8-day endeavour deep into the Amazon River.
“A perfect Circumnavigation is different for every resident as we pick up new adventurers along the way in every port”, said Mikael Petterson, Chief Executive Officer of Villa Vie Residences.
The price of all the options encompasses what the company calls “all-inclusive living”, covering all meals, activities and accommodation services, including housekeeping and wi-fi provided by Starlink.
The “Escape from Reality” package starts at $79,999 for single occupancy and $99,998 for two people. The 2-year cruise starts at $150,399 for single occupancy and $187,998 for two people. The 3-year option starts at $207,999 for single occupancy and $259,998 for two people, while the “Skip Forward” package starts at $255,999 for single occupancy and $319,998 for two people.
