The Borealis Hotel Group has opened 2 two new hotels close to Brussels Airport: Holiday Inn Express Brussels-Airport and Adagio Access Brussels Airport.
In line with its expansion strategy, the group announced in April last year that it had acquired various hotel projects in Belgium. Now, after close cooperation with partners Candor, IHG Hotels & Resorts and Adagio, the group opened the two properties side by side, by the European capital’s aviation hub. Both opened on 16 September, both hotels are close to the airport and thus nearby public transport options for reaching the city centre.
Designed according to the latest lay-out and fitting, featuring larger rooms, the Holiday Inn Express offers 208 rooms, from which 60 are connecting, one meeting room, a large Express Start Breakfast area can accommodate up to 180 people at the same time, making it suitable for large groups, an Express Café, a Crew Lounge, 100 underground parking spots, complete with e-charging stations, and an outdoor terrace.
Each of the rooms feature thoughtful design elements, including blackout curtains, a smart TV, a tea and coffee station, air conditioning and plush bedding. “Kickstart your day with a complimentary breakfast, stay connected using free Wi-Fi, and unwind at our bar offering a variety of beverages and snacks”, the hotel’s website prompts.
Nearby, the Adagio Access offers 160 modern studios, 110 of which for two people and 50 for four, each with a fully equipped kitchen, a fitness and communal areas designed for working and relaxing, as well as an underground parking. The establishment also offers The Circle concept which encourages between guests and hotel staff.

Fully embracing the residence hotel concept, the Adagio Access also entails “The Shop”, with 24/7 supplies, “The Object Library”, which includes decorative objects, kitchen utensils, books and an array of games available to borrow, and “The shared Kitchen”, a fully equipped communal kitchen, for those looking to make that late-night snack or a quick breakfast before an early flight.
