The Tram Experience is back and its promising food enthusiasts an exceptional gastronomic adventure through the heart of Brussels. As it enters its 11th year, this unique dining experience continues to be a highlight for both locals and visitors alike. Let’s take a closer look at what this year’s edition has in store.
From September onwards, the Tram Experience will be taking passengers on a culinary journey. The concept is simple but ingenious: a moving tram that doubles as a gourmet restaurant, complete with renowned chefs from around the world at the helm.
This year’s roster of culinary talent is nothing short of impressive. Six acclaimed chefs, each hailing from different corners of the globe, will tantalize taste buds with their signature menus, taking it in turns to showcase their culinary universe. The line-up includes Giovanni Bruno, Samuel Sirois, Mallory Gabsi, Andrea Larossa, Tomoyasu Kamo, and Oxana Cretu.
Giovanni Bruno, the chef behind Brussels’ esteemed Senzanome restaurant, will kick off the season in September. His Italian-inspired menu will showcase traditional flavors elevated with a touch of modern sophistication.
In the following months, the Tram Experience will traverse culinary landscapes, with stops in the tasteful universe of Chefs from Montreal, Paris, Turin, and even Japan. Samuel Sirois, a Canadian finalist in the Bocuse d’Or competition, will blend local Quebec ingredients with Belgian gastronomy, promising a unique fusion of flavors. Mallory Gabsi, a Top Chef semi-finalist and Michelin-starred chef, will return to his roots in Brussels for the festive season.
As the calendar turns to January, passengers will be treated to the delightful cuisine of Andrea Larossa, a Michelin-starred chef from Turin, Italy. Expect comforting Italian flavors to warm the coldest of winter evenings. Tomoyasu Kamo, the only Japanese Michelin-starred chef in Belgium, will provide a complete change of scenery with the finesse of Japanese cuisine in early spring.
Finally, the season will close with Oxana Cretu of INIMA restaurant in Bordeaux. Her delicate, plant-based cuisine inspired by her Moldavian roots will offer a taste of summer’s bloom, to close the tram journey for the season.

Tickets for the Tram Experience are limited, with a lot of dates already sold out. There is an option to reserve a table for 4 persons, for €540, or for 2, for €270, for a 7-courses menu experience, on Fridays and Saturday. On Tuesday, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, the Tram Experience features a 6-courses menu, priced at €220 and €440 for a table of two and four, respectively.
